From the inception the college had three-fold objective of pre-service training, in-service training of teachers and administrators of schools and doing research and documentation. And so our mission is to train well motivated teachers who are intellectually competent, morally upright, socially and professionally committed and spiritually inspired in order to become instruments of social transformation.

It admits 100 students every year for one year Bachelor of Education Programme. This is a co-educational institution with permanent recognition from the Government of Gujarat, National Council of Teacher Education and UGC registration under 2f and 12B. it is permanently affiliated to Gujarat University which is the biggest university in Gujarat. It is also a study centre for two year BAOU B.Ed programme with an intake of 100 students every year from various parts of Gujarat.
