• Seminar and project work was made compulsory for the students. To improve and enhance the creativity of writing skills in the students, two handwritten magazines “Saurabh” and “Narishakti” were prepared by the trainees of the college. Memorial lecturer series were arranged in the college. Different subject experts from different institutions were invited for guest lectures. • The college is affiliated to the Gujarat University, so the courses already being offered are as per university curricula.

Examination reforms implemented.

• This year at the start of the academic session, entrance test was conducted for the students. Unit tests were conducted throughout the year for the benefit of the students. Question bank was developed for the welfare of the students. Students were shown the answer sheets of the first and preliminary tests, so that they can know their own mistakes and improve those and tried to get good score. Bright and poor students were sorted out and treated accordingly in separate groups. Content-based assignments were given.

Initiative towards faculty development programme.

• Faculties were encouraged to participate in various programmes. They were provided with financial support from the PTAC grant received from UGC to participate in different programmes. Many seminars and workshops were arranged on contemporary topics for enhancement of the faculty. Guest lectures of the experts were arranged for the benefit of the faculty and the students.

• Personality Development Programme was arranged on 16-11-2009 for faculty and Mr. Deval Shastri was invited as a key person.
• Lecture was held in the series of Late Dr. V.H. Patel Smruti Lecture Series on Problems and Challenges of Education in the college and the key person was Dr. Vinodbhai Patel on 04/12/2009.
• Lecture was held on How to face the Interview in the college and the key person was Principal Nileshbhai Patel on 28/01/2010.
• Lecture was held on Problem and Solution of Adolescence in/ the college and the key person was Dr. Ansuyaben Sheth on 04/02/2010.
• Lecture was held in the series of Late Navinchandra Smruti Lecture Series on Swami Vivekanand: As a Pioneer of New Era in the college and the key person was Dr. Jayeshbhai Desai on 04/02/2010.
• The faculties were sent to Ahmedabad for attending the lecture ofDr. Maiyani organized by Gujarat University B.Ed. College Teacher Association at Gujarat University Ahmedabad on Reflective Teaching Practice in Teacher Education on 14/02/201

Community services.

• Every year the college arranges two memorial public lectures. The college has also organized many activities for the community residing in the surrounding of the college. Programmes like illiteracy drive, AIDS awareness and inter school competitions were conducted throughout the year. College has number of teaching aids and other teaching resources, which is available for the use of practicing school.
